Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and determination to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services during an engagement with all the company's senior professionals in a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.

Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric examinations.

Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% of your registered pupils while in the education sector.

These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
